Model & Actress

Lin works as a model and actress in the Greater Toronto Area. She is very interested in the intersection between the beauty & fashion industry, and environmental sustainability. As a social media influencer, she works diligently to represent sustainable brands, and showcase local entrepreneurs who are taking steps to reduce their environmental impact and empower their communities. She recently started a community volunteer initiative called Leslieville Reduces, which is aimed to encourage local businesses and consumers to decrease single use packaging by fostering a robust “Bring-Your-Own-Container” culture. As a part of her role as Co-Founder of PlasticFree Toronto, she has given community lectures and seminars regarding sustainable living at the Toronto Public Library, Wisebird & Collective Impact Journey’s Zero Waste Café, and a student run initiative called Zero Waste Sauga. She has also lectured about climate change and social justice for Loyola Catholic Secondary School, and hopes to expand PlasticFree Toronto’s activities to include further student education. She has been featured as a guest speaker on Radio Voces Latina (CHHA 1610 AM), and will be featured in an upcoming publication of Toronto Life magazine. Lindura studied Cognitive Science at Carleton University, and studies acting with various instructors, namely Miriam Laurence and Jeff Seymour.
